"You do not cease to amaze me with your perseverance, young man", the man with the ghostly grey eyes chuckled sinisterly.
"The Purpose does not die with me. I would have you know that ", said the young man, his hand aching from the tightness of the ropes they had bound him with. It was his third day in captivity. He knew he would never see the light of day again. He did know the last thing he'd see before the darkness takes him.
Ser WhiteTeeth, the grey-eyed angel of death, the Chief of Punishment, was named so for a reason. His strangely white teeth was the last thing scores of people saw last before the darkness engulfed them as he smilingly took their life.

"The purpose, pfft...!", he spat, "Traitors, all of you ! You Scramble-brained vermin. I had the Prime Engineer himself design a death machine for the likes of you. Bow to The Lord lest I take your life."

"I choose not to"
"You choose ? And pray, who taught you that word? Stupid boy, I'll tell you this once, let some things stay forgotten. You hear me? I shall ask HashOne to whip some sense into you."

Rheyah kept tossing and turning in her bed restlessly. Strange scenes kept flitting in front of her eyes, unbidden. It has been a week since he brother, Rhoy had called her. It wasn't unusual since Rhoy almost always forgot to call her. Rheyah always forgave him because she knew men of genius displayed a considerable lack of sensibility when it came to anything that was common. Like talking to your sister once a week.
But she was starting to feel uneasy and her dreams did not give her any solace. And Rhoy was starting to behave strangely too. His normally vague eyes seemed fiery and piercing and a new triumphant smile sat on his lips. She couldn't understand the change but was thankful for it. He even visited he once or twice. And now he had been silent for he week.

"Maybe I should give him a call", she said to herself. She called his Home number and the University. She couldn't reach him.
